To deliver court-admissible digital forensics and cybercrime investigation to individuals, businesses and organisations across India — while simultaneously training the next generation of investigators to the highest international standards through TraceXis Academy.
The investigator who built TraceXis.
Laxmi Narayan Sahu is a certified ethical hacker, penetration testing professional, digital forensic investigator and information systems auditor with 5+ years of active practice in network intelligence and cybercrime investigation.
He works on the cases that fall through the cracks between IT support and law enforcement — phishing and UPI fraud, hacked accounts, impersonation, stalking, corporate breaches. Everything leaves a digital trail. His job is to find it, preserve it, and present it in a form that can support a legal complaint, a civil claim or a corporate audit.
Alongside investigation, he has spent five years building Slytherin EduTech Pvt. Ltd. into one of India's most recognised grassroots cybersecurity education organisations — with Cyber Cell connections, student placements in DRDO and major MNCs, and an EC-Council partnership. TraceXis is the natural evolution of that work: the investigation and forensics arm, standing alongside the continuing Academy.
From a classroom to a forensics firm.
TraceXis is the investigation arm of an organisation with roots going back to 2020. Here's how it was built.
Operations began under the Slytherin brand — free cybersecurity awareness sessions in schools and colleges across Jharkhand and beyond. The goal: bridge the gap between cybersecurity as an abstract concept and cybersecurity as a practical skill anyone could learn. Community grew organically from that first batch.
Slytherin EduTech Pvt. Ltd. was formally incorporated in January 2022 as an IT security and training company. Rapidly earned MSME recognition from the Government of India, plus ISO, Udyam, MCA and GPIIT certifications — making it an officially recognised, government-approved training provider.

Key partnerships formed with multiple Cyber Cells and state police departments for direct internship pathways. Strategic EC-Council collaboration brought global certification alignment. Students secured DRDO internships and roles at HCL, TCS, Quick Heal, Z-Scaler and leading Cyber Security firms.
